# Pricing FAQ Short answers on plans, credits, cancelling, refunds, model access, sound on video and failed generations, with links to the full pages. ## Plans and prices **What does each plan cost?** Free is $0. Basic is $19 a month or $144 a year. Pro is $39 a month or $300 a year. Studio is $79 a month or $588 a year. Creator is $179 a month or $1,788 a year and is sold on [/studio/pricing](https://www.uova.com/studio/pricing). See [How pricing works](https://www.uova.com/help/billing/how-pricing-works). **Do I need a paid plan to use every AI model?** No. Every image and video model is available on every plan, including Free. Credits are the limit, and each model has its own price. **Is there a free trial or a promo code?** No. There is no trial of a paid plan and the checkout has no promo-code field. The Free plan is the way to try UOVA. **Which payment methods work?** A card, at Stripe Checkout, for plans and for credit packs. ## Credits **Do unused credits roll over?** Monthly plan credits do not. They reset at the start of each UTC calendar month. Credits you buy in packs never expire. See [How credits work](https://www.uova.com/help/billing/credits). **What happens when I run out?** The action does not run and nothing is charged. In the Studio you see **Not enough credits** and can buy a pack, change plan or wait for the monthly reset. **How much does an AI chat message cost?** In the site editor, 6, 12 or 30 credits depending on the request. In the Studio's Lock-in agent, the price of the planner model you pick, from 4 to 369 credits, with **Auto** free for the first 50 messages each UTC day and 5 credits after. See [What actions cost](https://www.uova.com/help/billing/costs). **How much does it cost to generate a website?** 250 credits at minimum, which is the whole Free allowance. A paid plan can be charged more when the template carries many images. ## Video and failed generations **Does turning sound on cost more?** On 6 of the 22 video models, yes. Veo 3.1 and Seedance 1.5 Pro double the price, Veo 3.1 Fast, Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Pro are 1.5 times, and Veo 3.1 Lite is 1.67 times. On 7 models sound is included at no extra credit, and 9 models have no sound. The switch is on by default, so the price you see includes sound where it costs extra. **If a generation fails, am I charged?** No. A failed generation is refunded automatically. The Studio never swaps in a different model on failure: the model you chose runs, or the charge is refunded. A video that has not finished after 30 minutes is failed and refunded once. **Are there free retries?** In the site editor's AI chat you can use up to 3 free retries per hour. In the Studio a failed run is refunded and you can run it again at the normal price. ## Cancelling and refunds **How do I cancel?** Use **Manage billing** on the Billing page in your account settings, or email billing@uova.com. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. See [Subscribe, change plan or cancel](https://www.uova.com/help/billing/manage-subscription). **Can I get a refund?** Monthly plans have no refunds for partial months. Annual plans can be refunded in full within 14 days of the first purchase. Credits are non-refundable. See [Refunds, taxes and invoices](https://www.uova.com/help/billing/refunds-taxes-invoices). **Can I add teammates to my plan?** No. UOVA does not currently offer team workspaces, member invitations or roles.
