# Accounts, sites and projects

What an account owns, how projects and published sites relate, why there are no teams yet, and exactly what changes between the Free plan and the paid plans.

In UOVA, a workspace is your account. Everything you make belongs to one signed-in account: its projects, its credits, its plan and its published sites. There are no shared workspaces.

## Projects and sites

A **project** is your editable copy of a site, with its pages and its saved versions. A **site** is what visitors see after you publish: a snapshot of the project stored at your address. The two can differ, because edits to the project reach the site only when you select **Update**.

| Term | What it is | Where you see it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Draft | A project with no published snapshot, or one you took offline | A **Draft** label in your Websites list |
| Live | A project with a published snapshot | A **Live** label with the address and date |
| Starred | A marker you set so you can filter to a site again | The **Starred** filter in the Websites list |

The Websites list at [/dashboard](https://www.uova.com/dashboard) shows every site with its status, 7-day visitors and unread messages. Its row menu opens, edits, duplicates and deletes a site. Deleting a live site takes its address offline immediately. See [Your sites and projects](https://www.uova.com/help/account/websites-and-projects) and [Unpublish or delete a site](https://www.uova.com/help/build/publish/unpublish-and-delete).

A live site is open to everyone by default. You can put one password on the whole site from the dashboard: **Content & Memberships**, then **Access**, then **People with the password**. It needs a published site and a password of at least 8 characters, a change reaches visitors within a minute, and locked sites are kept out of search. Page-level access is not offered, and **Members only** appears only once the membership gate is configured.

> **Studio has projects too:** In Studio, a project groups chats and media. It is a different thing from a website project. See [The Lock-in agent](https://www.uova.com/help/studio/lock-in-agent).

## One person per account

- You cannot invite collaborators. The editor has no team feature.
- You cannot move a project to another account. The editor has no transfer option.
- Support is the same on every plan. See [Help & Support](https://www.uova.com/help/getting-started/help-and-support).

## What each plan changes

Every plan has unlimited sites, every template and every model. The Free plan can publish. The differences are below, as of 2026-10-10. Live prices are on the [pricing page](https://www.uova.com/pricing).

| Plan | Credits a month | Custom domain | Made in UOVA badge |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | 250 | Cannot connect, buy or transfer | Shown |
| Basic ($19 a month) | 18,000 | Allowed | Removed |
| Pro ($39 a month) | 38,000 | Allowed | Removed |
| Studio ($79 a month) | 75,000 | Allowed | Removed |

The annual Studio plan includes one free first-year domain, once per account, with the registrar cost capped at $20. Paid plans also have a larger rate-limit allowance than Free. See [How pricing works](https://www.uova.com/help/billing/how-pricing-works).
