# How UOVA works: Build and Studio

Build makes websites and Studio makes images and video. See what each does, where you find it, what it costs and how they share one account and one credit pool.

UOVA is one account with two workspaces. You use **Build** when the result is a website and **Studio** when the result is a picture, a clip or a sound. Neither needs the other, and you can use both on the same day.

## What each half does

> **Two kinds of /studio address:** `/studio` is the creative workspace. `/studio/<projectId>` is the editor for one of your sites. `/create` is not the website generator: it redirects to the Studio's image and video tools.

## What each costs

Both halves spend credits. The table gives the price of one action as of 2026-10-10. The Studio shows the live price on its **Generate** button, and [What actions cost](https://www.uova.com/help/billing/costs) lists the rest.

## What they share

- **One account.** You sign in once. The dashboard lists your sites, and its Media page lists your Studio generations. See [Accounts, sites and projects](https://www.uova.com/help/getting-started/concepts/accounts-and-projects).
- **One credit pool.** Free gets 250 credits a month, Basic 18,000, Pro 38,000 and Studio 75,000. A fifth plan, Creator, gets 228,000 and is sold from the Studio pricing page. Monthly credits reset at the start of each UTC calendar month and do not roll over.
- **Bought credits.** Credit packs never expire and are spent after the monthly allowance. See [Buy more credits](https://www.uova.com/help/billing/credit-packs).
- **Every model.** All models work on every plan, including Free. Credits are the only limit.

## Using Studio work on a site

The editor has its own **Media** panel that generates images and video for the page you are editing, and it saves them to a permanent library. Files you made in Studio are in your account's Media page and can be downloaded and uploaded to a site. The editor's image helper adds "no text" and hero-background instructions to what you type, so it cannot letter an image. Studio sends your prompt as you typed it. See [Prompting in Studio](https://www.uova.com/help/studio/prompting).
