# Kling 3.0

Make video clips from a text prompt or a start image with Kling 3.0 by Kuaishou, from 464 credits per clip. See its settings, limits and exact prices.

Kling 3.0 is Kuaishou's video model and the model the Studio picker starts on for video. It works from a text prompt or a start image, makes clips from 3 to 15 seconds at 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, and has a sound toggle. A 5-second clip costs 772 credits with sound off and 1,158 with sound on.

## What it costs

These are credits per clip, as of 2026-10-10. The Studio shows the live quote for your settings before you generate, and the total it charges is that quote multiplied by **Count**.

The Studio starts with sound on, so the first quote you see is the sound-on price. Switch sound off to pay the lower price.

The table shows selected lengths. Every whole second from 3 to 15 is available and priced in the same way, and the Studio shows the exact quote.

## Use it in Studio

1. **Open Create Video** In Studio, open **Create Video**. Sign in when the Studio asks, because every generation needs an account.
2. **Choose Kling 3.0** Open the model picker, which groups models by maker, and choose Kling 3.0.
3. **Write your prompt** Describe the clip. To start from a picture, attach one start image (JPEG, PNG or WEBP, up to 20 MB).
4. **Set the output** Set aspect ratio, length, sound and **Count** from 1 to 4.
5. **Check the price and generate** The Studio shows the credit price for your settings. Videos run in the background: the card updates in place when the clip is ready, and the clip is saved to your **Library**.

## Limits

- With a start image attached, the clip follows the image and the aspect ratio choice is hidden.
- You need to be signed in to generate. Kling 3.0 is available on every plan, including Free; credits are the limit.
- One start image only. The Studio has no end frame, no multiple reference images and no video-to-video input.
- A video that has not finished within 30 minutes is marked failed and refunded. A failed generation is refunded, and the Studio does not run a different model in its place.

## Common questions

**How much does a 10-second clip cost?**

1,544 credits with sound off and 2,316 with sound on. Length scales the price, so the table above lists several lengths.

**Why can I not pick an aspect ratio when I add a start image?**

With a start image attached, Kling 3.0 follows the shape of your image, so the Studio hides the aspect ratio choice. Remove the image and the choice returns.

**Does Kling 3.0 make sound?**

It has a sound toggle that is on by default. Sound on costs extra credits: 772 credits with sound off and 1,158 with sound on at the default settings.
