# Seedance 1.5 Pro

Make video clips from a text prompt or a start image with Seedance 1.5 Pro by ByteDance, from 192 credits per clip. See its settings, limits and exact prices.

Seedance 1.5 Pro is an earlier ByteDance video model with sound. It makes clips of 4 to 12 seconds from a text prompt or a start image, at any of five aspect ratios, and lists 720p output. Sound doubles the price. A 5-second clip costs 239 credits with sound off, and 478 with sound on.

The Studio starts with sound on, so the first quote you see is the sound-on price. Switch sound off to pay the lower price.

The table shows selected lengths. Every whole second from 4 to 12 is available and priced in the same way, and the Studio shows the exact quote.

## Use it in Studio

1. **Open Create Video** In Studio, open **Create Video**. Sign in when the Studio asks, because every generation needs an account.
2. **Choose Seedance 1.5 Pro** Open the model picker, which groups models by maker, and choose Seedance 1.5 Pro.
3. **Write your prompt** Describe the clip. To start from a picture, attach one start image (JPEG, PNG or WEBP, up to 20 MB).
4. **Set the output** Set aspect ratio, length, sound and **Count** from 1 to 4.
5. **Check the price and generate** The Studio shows the credit price for your settings. Videos run in the background: the card updates in place when the clip is ready, and the clip is saved to your **Library**.

## Limits

- You need to be signed in to generate. Seedance 1.5 Pro is available on every plan, including Free; credits are the limit.
- One start image only. The Studio has no end frame, no multiple reference images and no video-to-video input.
- A video that has not finished within 30 minutes is marked failed and refunded. A failed generation is refunded, and the Studio does not run a different model in its place.
