How can we help?

Step-by-step guides for every UOVA tool.

Getting Started

Create your first project, explore the dashboard, and publish your website.

  1. 1Click the "Create" button on your dashboard or the "Start Building" button on the homepage.
  2. 2Choose whether to start from a blank canvas or pick a template from the gallery.
  3. 3If choosing a template, browse by category (Portfolio, Business, Landing Page, etc.) and click "Use Template" to clone it into your workspace.
  4. 4Your new project opens in the visual editor. The left sidebar shows your page tree, sections, and element layers. The center canvas is your live editing surface.
  5. 5Make your changes directly on the canvas — click any element to select it, then use the right panel to adjust text, colors, spacing, images, and layout.
  6. 6When you're ready, click "Publish" in the top-right corner. Your site goes live instantly on a free uova.com subdomain.
  1. 1Your dashboard is the home screen after signing in. It shows all your projects as visual cards with live thumbnails.
  2. 2Use the sidebar to navigate between Websites (your projects), Templates (gallery), AI Studio (image/video generation), and Account Settings.
  3. 3Each project card has a 3-dot menu with options: Open in Editor, Preview, Duplicate, Rename, and Delete.
  4. 4The top bar shows your workspace name, plan status, and quick-access buttons for creating new projects.
  5. 5You can filter and search your projects using the search bar at the top of the dashboard.
  1. 1A workspace is your account container — it holds all your projects, team members, and settings.
  2. 2Each workspace can have multiple projects (websites). Free plans allow 1 project, paid plans allow unlimited.
  3. 3Projects are independent websites. Each has its own pages, styles, assets, domain settings, and publishing status.
  4. 4You can switch between projects from the dashboard. Changes to one project never affect another.
  5. 5To invite team members, go to Workspace Settings → Team, and send invites by email with Editor, Viewer, or Admin roles.
  1. 1Open your project in the editor and click the "Publish" button in the top-right corner.
  2. 2Your site is published instantly to a free subdomain: yourproject.uova.com.
  3. 3To use a custom domain (e.g., yourbrand.com), go to Project Settings → Domains and follow the domain connection guide.
  4. 4Every publish creates a new version. Your site updates live within seconds — no build steps or deployment pipelines needed.
  5. 5You can unpublish a site at any time from Project Settings → Publishing → Unpublish.

Website Builder

Master the visual editor, layouts, sections, pages, and responsive design.

  1. 1The visual editor has three areas: the left sidebar (page tree and layers), the center canvas (live editing surface), and the right panel (properties and styles).
  2. 2Click any element on the canvas to select it. A blue outline shows the selected element, and its properties appear in the right panel.
  3. 3Drag elements from the left sidebar's element library onto the canvas to add new content — text blocks, images, buttons, forms, dividers, and more.
  4. 4Double-click any text element to enter inline editing mode. Type directly on the canvas as if it were a document.
  5. 5Use Cmd/Ctrl + Z to undo and Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + Z to redo. Every action is tracked in your undo history.
  6. 6The canvas supports zoom (Cmd/Ctrl + scroll) and pan (Space + drag) for navigating large pages.
  1. 1Pages are built from sections — full-width horizontal blocks that stack vertically. Think of each section as a row of content.
  2. 2Inside sections, use layout containers (flex or grid) to arrange elements side by side, in columns, or in complex grid patterns.
  3. 3To add a new section, hover between existing sections until the blue insertion line appears, then click the "+" button.
  4. 4Each section has its own background (color, image, or gradient), padding, and max-width settings in the right panel.
  5. 5Reorder sections by dragging them in the page tree (left sidebar). You can also duplicate or delete sections from the right-click context menu.
  1. 1Your project can have multiple pages. View and manage them in the left sidebar under the "Pages" tab.
  2. 2Click "+ New Page" to create an additional page. Give it a title and URL slug (e.g., /about, /contact, /services).
  3. 3Set your homepage by right-clicking a page in the sidebar and selecting "Set as Homepage."
  4. 4Each page has its own SEO settings (title, description, social image) accessible from the page's settings panel.
  5. 5To link between pages, select any button or text link, open the link settings, and choose the target page from the dropdown.
  1. 1UOVA's editor supports three responsive breakpoints: Desktop (default), Tablet (≤1024px), and Mobile (≤640px).
  2. 2Switch between breakpoints using the device icons in the top toolbar. The canvas resizes to show your site at that width.
  3. 3Styles set on a smaller breakpoint override the desktop styles. For example, reducing font size on mobile won't affect the desktop view.
  4. 4Use the "Stack on mobile" toggle on layout containers to automatically convert horizontal layouts to vertical stacks on smaller screens.
  5. 5Preview your responsive design at any width by dragging the canvas edge handles.
  1. 1For advanced users, UOVA supports custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript injection.
  2. 2Go to Project Settings → Custom Code to add code to the <head> or before </body> of every page. Use this for analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or custom fonts.
  3. 3For per-page custom code, open the page settings and use the "Custom Code" section.
  4. 4You can also add inline code blocks to the canvas using the "Code Embed" element from the element library. This is useful for embedding third-party widgets, maps, or interactive content.
  5. 5Custom CSS added through Project Settings applies globally. Use specific selectors to target individual elements if needed.

AI Studio

Generate images, create videos, use the AI assistant, and master Spaces.

  1. 1Navigate to AI Studio → Image Generator from the main navigation or sidebar.
  2. 2Type a descriptive prompt in the text field. Be specific about subject, style, lighting, composition, and mood for best results.
  3. 3Choose a model from the model selector. Each model has different strengths — some excel at photorealism, others at illustration or artistic styles.
  4. 4Adjust settings like aspect ratio (1:1, 16:9, 9:16, etc.), quality level, and number of images to generate.
  5. 5Click "Generate" and wait for your images to appear. Generation typically takes 5–30 seconds depending on the model and quality settings.
  6. 6Generated images are saved to your AI Studio library. You can download them, use them directly in your website projects, or generate variations.
  1. 1Navigate to AI Studio → Video Generator from the main navigation.
  2. 2You can generate videos in two ways: text-to-video (describe the scene you want) or image-to-video (upload a starting frame and describe the motion).
  3. 3For text-to-video, write a detailed prompt describing the scene, camera movement, and action. Example: "Aerial drone shot slowly flying over a coastal city at golden hour, cinematic."
  4. 4For image-to-video, upload or select an image from your library, then describe how you want it to animate.
  5. 5Choose a video model and settings: duration (typically 3–10 seconds), resolution, and motion intensity.
  6. 6Video generation takes longer than images — typically 1–5 minutes. You'll be notified when your video is ready.
  7. 7Generated videos are saved to your library. Download as MP4 or use them as background videos in your website sections.
  1. 1The AI assistant is available throughout UOVA to help with copywriting, brainstorming, and creative direction.
  2. 2In the website editor, select any text element and click the AI icon (or press Cmd/Ctrl + J) to open the AI text assistant.
  3. 3Ask the assistant to write headlines, body copy, product descriptions, CTAs, or any text content for your site.
  4. 4You can also use the assistant to refine existing text — ask it to make copy shorter, more professional, friendlier, or translated to another language.
  5. 5The assistant remembers context about your project, so prompts like "write a tagline for this product" will produce relevant results based on your site's content.
  1. 1Spaces is an advanced node-based workflow editor for chaining AI operations together.
  2. 2Open Spaces from AI Studio → Spaces. Each Space is an infinite canvas where you connect nodes.
  3. 3Available node types: Image Generator, Video Generator, AI Assistant, Media (upload), and Upscaler.
  4. 4Connect nodes by dragging from an output port to an input port. For example, connect an Image Generator output to a Video Generator input to create image-to-video animations from AI-generated stills.
  5. 5Double-click any node to configure its settings (prompt, model, parameters). Click "Run" on a node to execute it.
  6. 6Spaces are saved automatically. Use them to build reusable creative pipelines for batch content creation.

Templates & Design

Browse, preview, and customize templates. Work with the style system.

  1. 1Open the Templates gallery from the main navigation or from your dashboard sidebar.
  2. 2Browse templates by category: Portfolio, Business, Landing Page, Agency, Blog, Restaurant, and more.
  3. 3Each template card shows a live preview thumbnail, the template name, and a brief description.
  4. 4Click any template card to open a full-page interactive preview. Scroll through all pages and sections to see the complete design.
  5. 5When you find a template you like, click "Use Template" to create a new project pre-filled with that design. All content is fully editable.
  1. 1After cloning a template, every element is fully editable — text, images, colors, fonts, spacing, and layout.
  2. 2Start by replacing placeholder text with your own content. Double-click any text to edit it inline.
  3. 3Swap images by clicking an image element and using the right panel to upload your own or browse the asset library.
  4. 4To change the color scheme, select elements and update their colors in the right panel. Use the global style settings to change brand colors site-wide.
  5. 5Add or remove sections as needed. Templates are starting points — feel free to restructure, add new pages, or remove sections that don't fit your needs.
  6. 6Templates use responsive layouts by default, so your customizations will look good on all devices.
  1. 1UOVA includes a library of Google Fonts and system fonts available in every project.
  2. 2Change fonts from the right panel when a text element is selected — choose font family, weight, size, line height, and letter spacing.
  3. 3For consistency, set your heading and body fonts in the global style settings. This applies your chosen fonts across the entire site.
  4. 4You can use different fonts for headings (H1–H6) and body text. Most templates use one display font for headings and a clean sans-serif for body.
  5. 5Custom font files can be uploaded via Project Settings → Custom Code using @font-face CSS rules.

Domains & Hosting

Connect custom domains, manage DNS, configure SSL, and go live.

  1. 1Open your project and go to Project Settings → Domains.
  2. 2Click "Add Domain" and enter your domain name (e.g., yourbrand.com).
  3. 3UOVA will display the DNS records you need to add at your domain registrar (the company where you bought your domain).
  4. 4Log in to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Google Domains, etc.) and add the DNS records — typically a CNAME and/or A record pointing to UOVA's servers.
  5. 5DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate, but most complete within 1–2 hours.
  6. 6Once DNS propagates, UOVA automatically detects the connection and activates your custom domain. A green checkmark will appear next to the domain name.
  1. 1UOVA automatically provisions and renews SSL certificates for all sites — including custom domains.
  2. 2Once your custom domain is connected, SSL is activated automatically within minutes. No configuration needed.
  3. 3All UOVA sites force HTTPS by default. HTTP requests are automatically redirected to HTTPS.
  4. 4SSL certificates are provided by Let's Encrypt and renew automatically every 90 days.
  5. 5If your SSL certificate shows an error, check that your DNS records are correctly pointing to UOVA's servers. Contact support if the issue persists.
  1. 1UOVA sites are hosted on a global CDN (Content Delivery Network) for fast loading worldwide.
  2. 2Click "Publish" in the editor to push your latest changes live. Updates are deployed instantly — no build queues or deployment pipelines.
  3. 3Assets (images, videos, fonts) are automatically optimized and served from edge locations closest to your visitors.
  4. 4For best performance, use optimized images (JPEG/WebP for photos, SVG for icons), keep custom code minimal, and avoid loading too many third-party scripts.
  5. 5View your site's performance metrics in Project Settings → Analytics (available on paid plans).

Billing & Account

Manage your subscription, understand plans, and configure teams.

  1. 1UOVA offers three plan tiers: Free, Pro, and Enterprise.

  3. 3The Pro plan unlocks unlimited projects, custom domains, priority AI generation, advanced editor features, team collaboration, and priority support.
  4. 4The Enterprise plan adds dedicated support, custom contracts, SLA guarantees, SSO/SAML authentication, and higher API limits.
  5. 5View and compare all plan features at uova.com/pricing or from Account Settings → Billing.
  1. 1Go to Account Settings → Billing to view your current plan, billing cycle, and payment method.
  2. 2To upgrade, click "Upgrade Plan" and select your desired tier. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing cycle.
  3. 3To downgrade, click "Change Plan" and select a lower tier. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  4. 4To cancel, click "Cancel Plan." Your sites remain accessible until the end of the billing period. You can export all content before cancellation.
  5. 5Payment methods accepted: all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) processed securely through Stripe.
  6. 6Invoices are available for download from the billing page. Enterprise customers can request custom invoicing.
  1. 1Invite team members from Workspace Settings → Team by entering their email address.
  2. 2Three role types are available: Admin (full access including billing and settings), Editor (can edit projects but not manage billing), and Viewer (read-only access).
  3. 3Each team member gets their own login. Changes made by team members are attributed to their account.
  4. 4Admins can update roles, remove team members, or transfer project ownership at any time.
  5. 5Team collaboration is available on Pro and Enterprise plans. Free plans are single-user only.
