Media library
Find what you made in Studio, restore deleted items from Trash, and upload, copy and download the image and video files your sites use.
For the complete documentation index, see llms.txt. This page is also available as Markdown.
Media in the dashboard panel (shortcut g then m) holds two things: what you create in Studio, and the files your sites use. You can also open it from the account menu as Media library. Two buttons at the top choose the source, Creations and Site files.
#Creations
Creations is the Studio generation library inside the dashboard. Items are grouped by day, newest first, and load 40 at a time. The primary button is Create in Studio.
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| All | Everything in your library. |
| Images | Generated images. |
| Videos | Generated videos. |
| Favourites | Items you marked Favourite. |
| Trash | Items you deleted. Nothing is erased: you can restore any of them. |
- The search box, Search your creations, searches your creations. It accepts up to 120 characters and filters 300 milliseconds after you stop typing.
- Opening an item shows Studio's own viewer. The left and right arrow keys move between items and Esc closes it.
- Favourite (it then reads Favourited) adds the item to the Favourites tab.
- Videos that are still rendering get a notice above the list: "Your gallery updates as active video jobs finish." If a job has failed or run for more than 30 minutes, it says "Some jobs failed or stayed in progress for over 30 minutes. Reviewing them spends no credits." Select Review to see them and Hide details to close the list.
- An empty tab reads "Nothing here yet" and says what you make in Studio is saved here automatically.
#Delete and restore
Deleting an item shows "Moved to Trash" with an Undo button. In the Trash tab, open an item and select Restore to bring it back ("Restored to your library"). The dashboard has no permanent delete for Trash: its viewer offers Restore only.
#Site files
Site files lists the images and videos stored in your account's media folder, newest first, 36 at a time. It is where files you upload for your sites are kept.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| + Upload files | Choose one or several files. It accepts images, MP4, WebM, QuickTime and MOV, M4V, and HEIC or HEIF. Each success shows "File added to your site library" or "<n> files added to your site library". A wrong type shows "<name> isn't an image or video". |
| All files, Images, Videos | Filters the list by type. |
| Card | Shows Image or Video, the date and the size. Select it to open a preview. |
| Copy address | In the preview: copies the file's web address. A toast says "File address copied". |
| Download | In the preview: saves the file. |
| Load more files | Appears when more files are left to list. |
#Use media in a site
In the editor you replace an image by uploading a file or browsing the library, and you pick a page's social share image the same way. See Images, video and the media library and SEO settings.
#Limits
- Uploads from the Site files tab are checked by the server at 15 MB for an image and 80 MB for a video. A larger file stops with "File is too large (<n> MB — max <m> MB)".
- The editor's image picker applies tighter limits: 10 MB for an image and 50 MB for a video.
- Site files has no delete button. Items in Creations can be moved to Trash.
- Uploading your own font files is not supported.
- Downloads and Studio history are covered in Library, history and downloads.
