Limits, sign-in and what a generation makes
What signed-out and signed-in visitors can generate, the caps that apply, what a generation produces and what it cannot do.
For the complete documentation index, see llms.txt. This page is also available as Markdown.
#Signed out and signed in
How the homepage treats a signed-out visitor is a setting, so check what you see. Either the build starts as a guest with no sign-up wall, or a sign-up window opens and keeps your prompt until you finish.
| Signed out (guest build) | Signed in | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the site lives | In your browser on this device. Nothing is saved to an account. | In your account, saved by the server. Leaving the page does not lose it. |
| Getting it into the editor | Opening the editor or pressing Publish opens a window to claim the site. You sign up with a first name, an email address and a password, then enter a verification code sent to your email, or you log in. The guest site then moves to your account. | Opens directly. |
| Limit | Per-IP caps of 3 generations an hour and 10 a day by default, plus daily limits across all guests. A hit shows a message asking you to sign up. | Credits. |
| Credits taken | None. | 250 at the start, refunded on failure. |
| Images | Curated images only. | May include new AI images. |
| Photos you attach | Up to 8 go into the guest build. More than 8 opens the sign-up window instead. | Up to 20, analysed while the build runs. |
#What a guest sees at a limit
| Situation | Message |
|---|---|
| More than 5 requests in 60 seconds from your address | "Too many builds right now. Try again …", followed by how long to wait |
| The hourly or daily guest cap | "You've used the free previews from this connection for now. Try again …, or sign up free to keep building." with a Sign up free button |
| The daily limit across all guests | "Free previews are at capacity right now. Sign up free to keep building without the wait." |
#Credits for a generation
- Entry charge
- 250 credits, taken before the build starts. Guest builds take no credits.
- Free plan
- 250 credits in each calendar month (UTC), so one generation a month. The Free plan is never charged more than the 250.
- Paid plans
- After the site is built, a measured remainder can be taken once the template is known. A generation can then cost more than 250 credits, depending on how many images the template has. If your balance cannot cover the remainder, the site is still delivered and nothing further is taken.
- On failure
- The entry charge is refunded. If the refund cannot be recorded, the failure message leaves out "Your credits were refunded."
- Out of credits
You're out of credits — upgrade to keep building.with an Upgrade plan button to your billing page.
Credits are one pool shared by Build and Studio. See How credits work and What actions cost for the live numbers.
#What a generation produces
- One multi-page site on one template. The model writes content for pages paired to the template's pages, and the final page count depends on the template.
- The template's legal pages, as placeholders for you to write. Each says "UOVA does not write legal terms, and nothing here is legal advice" and its other lines read "Add your own wording here." Visitors never see an unfilled legal page or a link to it. Your first edit to its text makes the page yours, and it then publishes. Capitol has no legal pages.
- Navigation, footer and layout from the template.
- "Add your ..." placeholders for facts you did not supply, such as "Add your phone number". They show in the editor only. They are hidden on the published site, on a custom domain and on a standalone preview tab, and your own text replaces them.
- Your own photos (up to 20), when you attach them.
#Limits that apply to everyone
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Prompt length kept by the server | 6,000 characters (longer prompts are shortened, not rejected) |
| Empty prompt | Refused before any charge |
| Generation requests per IP address | 5 per 60 seconds |
| A second build for the same site while one runs | Refused |
| Time limit for one build | A build that runs past its own limit stops and is refunded, a little under five minutes after it starts (285 seconds) |
| Blocked prompts | "We couldn't build this request as written…", before any charge |
| Languages | English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian. One per site |
#Template choice
You cannot choose the template for a prompt. A scorer picks it from the industry, tone, theme and features it detects. Generation draws from a fixed set of 12 generator templates as of 2026-10-10. Other templates in the gallery are reached by starting from a template. If the matched template cannot be built, UOVA tries Capitol, then Saffron.
| Template address | Industry it covers |
|---|---|
fade | Barbershops |
gloss | Hair salons |
lueur | Beauty products |
grove | Landscaping |
capitol | General and corporate business, and the fallback |
datum | Trades |
hearth | Bakeries |
odessey | Gyms |
saffron | Restaurants |
keel | Personal trainers |
vanta | Streetwear and fashion shops |
veil | Streetwear and fashion shops |
