Studio tools
The Studio's tools in full: Create Image, Create Video, Animate a Photo, Edit Image, Upscale, Remove Background and Spaces, with what each does, its controls and its credit price.
For the complete documentation index, see llms.txt. This page is also available as Markdown.
The Tools page lists seven tools. All of them need a signed-in account to run, and all spend from your one credit pool. The price shows before you run. See What actions cost.
#Create Image
Generates images from a text prompt, with an optional reference image. Opens at /studio/create/image. See Create an image.
#Create Video
Generates videos from a text prompt. Opens at /studio/create/video. See Create a video.
#Animate a Photo
Turns one image into a moving clip. It is the Create Video page in image-to-video mode, so it has the same controls, and it takes one start image only.
#Edit Image
Opens at /studio/image-editor. Drop or pick an image, choose a tool in the toolbar, set its options and apply it. Each tool has its own price, charged when you apply it. A picture larger than 1,024 px is scaled down to 1,024 px on its longest side when it enters the editor, and the edit models work at that size.
| Toolbar tool | What it does | Options | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edit with prompt | Changes the picture from a written instruction. | Prompt, for example "add a lion in the corner". | 80 |
| Inpaint / Retouch | Repaints an area you paint over. | A brush from 5 to 100 px, and a prompt for what to fill in. | 100 |
| Expand canvas | Extends the picture beyond its edges. | Left, Right, Top and Bottom, 0 to 300 px each, with presets Expand All, Widen, Taller and Extend Right. An optional prompt for what to fill. | 170 |
| Restyle image | Applies a new look to the picture. | 12 styles (Oil Painting, Watercolor, Anime, Pixel Art, 3D Cartoon, Comic Book, Cyberpunk, Ghibli, Synthwave, Claymation, Lo-Fi, Vaporwave) or a custom style prompt, and a Strength slider from 40 to 100. | 74 |
| Change camera angle | Shows the subject from another angle. | Rotation 0 to 360 degrees, Tilt from -30 to 60 degrees, Zoom 0 to 10, and presets Front, Right, Back, Left, High and Low. A batch mode makes 12 angles at once. | 80 per angle |
| Remove / Replace | Removes or changes something you describe. | A prompt, for example "remove the person". | 147 |
If your balance is short, the editor says "Not enough credits. Need <N> but have <M>." before anything is sent. A failed edit is refunded. The result is saved to your Library, and from the editor you can send the picture to Upscale.
#Upscale
The page is titled Image Upscaler and opens at /studio/upscale. It enlarges an image with the Clarity upscaler. Drop an image or click to upload (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 20 MB), or choose one of your recent images.
| Control | Values | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Scale Factor | 2x or 4x. These are the only two. | 2x |
| Creativity | A slider from 0 to 100%. Higher lets the model invent more detail. | 35% |
| Resemblance | A slider from 0 to 100%. Higher stays closer to the original. | 60% |
The price is the output size in megapixels times 55.1 credits, rounded up to a whole credit, so a 1 megapixel result is 56 credits and a 2 megapixel result is 111. The page shows it as Cost: <N> credits with your size and the result size, for example "1024x1024 to 2048x2048", and the same number is charged. The button reads Upscale 2x or Upscale 4x. When it finishes you see the original and the upscaled size, a Download button and Upscale Again, and the page notes how many credits were used.
#Remove Background
The page is titled Background Remover and opens at /studio/remove-bg. Drop an image or click to upload (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 20 MB). It cuts the subject out onto a transparent background for 50 credits per image. The result has a before and after slider, Download PNG and Remove Another. If your balance is below 50, the page says "Not enough credits. Need 50 but have <M>."
#Spaces
A node canvas where generations are chained. Opens at /studio/spaces. See Spaces.
#Where results go
Outputs from Upscale, Remove Background and Edit Image are recorded in your Library, the same as generated images. The upload screens of Upscale and Remove Background also list your recent images so you can pick one without uploading it again.
#Limits
- The tools work on images. There is no video editor and no video upscaler.
- Audio is made only inside the Lock-in agent.
- 3D model generation, voice cloning, face swap and lip-sync are not offered.
They sit in the sidebar next to the tools. See The Lock-in agent and Explore and Community.
No. The tool works on images.
